The Journey is a growing, ethnically diverse, intergenerational family of Christ followers in Worcester committed to loving God, loving one another, and loving our city in Jesus' name.
The Journey was founded in 2010 by Pastor Tom & Vitalina Sparling. Along with their launch team, their vision and work was to start a truly diverse church family; one that reflected the city of Worcester as well as heaven. Since then, The Journey has grown into a spiritual family of many generations, backgrounds, ethnicities, and experiences - worshipping and doing life together as we work for the good of our city.

ROOTED IN CHRIST... COLOSSIANS 2:7A
Our weekly services creatively blend music, personal stories, media, prayer, and scripture to bring glory to God and to deepen our experience of His presence. Teaching always focuses on having scriptural truth connect to our daily lives.
STRENGTHENED IN FAITH... COLOSSIANS 2:7B
Doing life alone is not natural, God made us for relationships! This is why spiritual growth happens most in community. No one can know everyone at The Journey, but we want EVERYONE to be known - Joining one of our Sunday morning or event teams is a great way to develop friendships with shared purpose, while deep connections are primarily made are in one of our many Small Groups.
OVERFLOWING WITH THANKFULNESS. COLOSSIANS 2:7B
Grateful people are generous people. Our thankfulness to God ought to create an overflow in us that blesses others. Too often, Christians have spoken about God's love but failed to express that love in their interaction with others. This "generosity factor" is described by Jesus in Matthew 25 - "Whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."Â
